“TOKYO SONATA” wins Best Japanese Film at the Osaka Cinema Festival. The film also takes home awards for Best Director and Best Cinematography.
“TOKYO SONATA” won Best Japanese Film at the 4th Osaka Cinema Festival
to be held from March 21 to 22. Director Kiyoshi Kurosawa and cinematographer
Akiko Ashizawa also won for Best Director and Best Cinematography respectively.

Films , will be released in theaters nationwide in Japan including Yebisu
Garden Cinema and Cine Canon Yurakucho on September 27, 2008.The winner of the
Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2008 Cannes International Film
Festival, the film is directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa and based on the screenplay
by Max Mannix, Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Sachiko Tanaka. The film stars Teruyuki Kagawa,
